Insurance & Our-Of-Network Benefits

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans include out-of-network mental health benefits, which means you may be able to receive partial reimbursement for our sessions.
Here’s how it typically works:
The amount you’re reimbursed depends on your specific plan. I’d encourage you to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask: “Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits, and what is my reimbursement rate for outpatient therapy?”
I’m happy to answer questions about this process during our consultation.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care before your first session.
As a self-pay client, you are entitled to receive a written estimate of your therapy costs. This estimate will be provided to you before we begin working together.
For questions about your Good Faith Estimate or the No Surprises Act, you can visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
THE INVESTMENT IN YOU Warm, affirming close before the Psychology Today link and CTA. Reframes cost as value without minimizing the real financial consideration.
I understand that therapy is a financial investment and I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to commit to it. What I can tell you is that the clients I work with consistently describe therapy as one of the most meaningful investments they’ve made in themselves.

If you have questions about fees or want to talk through whether this is the right time to start, please bring it up during your free consultation. I’d rather have an honest conversation than have cost be the thing that keeps you from getting support.
PSYCHOLOGY TODAY PROFILE Simple callout linking to her Psychology Today profile for additional credential and fee information.
