What Are Minfulness & Breathwork?
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment on purpose, without judgment. It sounds simple, but for most of us it takes practice. Our minds are constantly pulled toward the past or the future, and learning to anchor in the now can be genuinely transformative.
Breathwork refers to intentional breathing techniques that help regulate the nervous system. When we’re anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in stress responses, the breath is one of the most direct tools we have to shift how we feel quickly and without medication.
Together, mindfulness and breathwork form a powerful foundation for emotional regulation, stress reduction, and self-awareness. I integrate them into sessions not as add-ons, but as core skills you can take with you and use in your everyday life.
Who Is This For?
Mindfulness and breathwork are particularly helpful for people who:
- Experience anxiety, stress, or a racing mind
- Feel disconnected from their body or emotions
- Struggle to slow down or be present
- Want practical tools they can use between sessions
- Are navigating burnout, life transitions, or chronic stress
You don’t need to have a meditation practice or any prior experience. These are skills we build together, at your pace.
What to Expect in a Session?
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment — on purpose, without judgment. It sounds simple, but for most of us it takes practice. Our minds are constantly pulled toward the past or the future, and learning to anchor in the now can be genuinely transformative.
I might guide you through a short breathing exercise when you arrive feeling overwhelmed. We might pause in the middle of a conversation to check in with what’s happening in your body. Or I might teach you a specific technique to practice at home when anxiety spikes.
Over time, these practices become second nature tools that belong to you, not just to our sessions together.
